This is because the DaVinci surgical system is a robotic method that is performed by a doctor using a laparoscope, or small camera, that projects images onto a video screen. The doctor then uses a robotic device that can perform the removal of the uterus through  just a few small incisions or a single incision around the belly button area. This ensures less scarring as well as quick recovery following the procedure. In addition to being less invasive, the robotic nature of the DaVinci surgical system also ensures precision work is completed.
