I love Dr. Ritchey and she has always given me great care and I will never down her or her establishment out of anger. What needs work is the people running her office namely the billing department. First who ever is the new person working in that department is very rude and should not handle the phones. Second Dora really surprised me by not responding back to the voicemails with a phone call to workout this matter she has always been prompt but now I have been waiting 2 weeks for a call and still no response. I was dismissed from this practice for a bill I never knew I had. I was only informed of the bill when scheduling for a new appt to find out it went to collections and that “office policy is to let you go when this occurs. I had been with this practice for 7 years and they have never had any billing issues with me (to the point where they no longer follow their own policy and give me a estimate of what my portion is to pay after insurance)and I was discarded without even a phone call. You would think that a phone call about a bill would come but that never happened either. I know Dr. Ritchey does not send out these generic impersonal letters herself but I do think she should re-evaluate her policy and maybe her staff. There is a pandemic going on right now and things are out of whack across the board so mistakes are made but this billing issue could have been worked out amicably. It’s very hard find doctors that you can trust especially for women of color and I trusted Dr. Ritchey wholeheartedly. I would still recommend her office but with a disclaimer.

*update. I get that you are trying to save face but you and I know that you never responded to my CALLS as I stated previously we never spoke through email and I never received mail frankly because I have a new address. That you would have known had you called, because the number is the ame. Had you responded with facts that can be checked out you would have me. I keep every phone log and voicemail which there are none from this office regarding an outstanding bill. You and I both know you have never had a billing issue before so why would one start now. You guys dropped the ball.
